Flu symptoms usually come on suddenly, and people can experience various symptoms. Some of these may include:
In most cases, it takes anywhere from a few days to a little under 2 weeks for people to recover from the flu.
While they are both contagious respiratory illnesses with similar symptoms, the common cold and the flu are each caused by different viruses.
The flu is generally more severe than a cold, and you may notice the symptoms come about very abruptly. You’re also more likely to have a stuffy or runny nose if you have a cold, while fever is more common in people with the flu. Colds also don’t usually lead to any significant health problems. Ultimately, it’s best to play it safe and get tested for flu if you’re experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms.
Because cold and flu symptoms are difficult to tell apart, it’s best to stay on the safe side and get tested if you experience any cold or flu-like symptoms. Scheduling a quick Flu Rescue Package service with us can help ensure both you and your loved ones stay in good health.
Our rapid tests are 99% accurate and FDA-authorized.
Since our rapid tests are 99% accurate and designed to detect even the slightest presence of the flu virus, you should get an accurate result even if you’re asymptomatic.
Tamiflu is a prescription antiviral medication used to treat the flu (influenza). It’s not a substitute for your yearly flu vaccine, but it helps treat your symptoms and get you back in good health. Tamiflu works best when you start taking it no more than 2 days after your first symptoms. It should also only be prescribed to people two weeks of age and older.
Tamiflu is generally well-tolerated, so you may not experience any side effects. However, common side effects include mild nausea and vomiting in the first 2 days of treatment. Taking Tamiflu with food can decrease your chances of experiencing these side effects.
Other possible side effects can include the following:
Be sure to talk to your nurse practitioner about any side effects that may concern you. If you start to experience any of these effects while taking Tamiflu, follow up with a member of our clinical staff so they can advise you.

Complete COVID rapid testing (Antigen and/or PCR), consultation, and prescription medication for patients ages 12+
BOOK NOWDiagnose COVID symptoms within minutes right from home and return to a healthier you. Get quick and reliable results by booking a consultation with one of our nurse practitioners.
People have reported a wide range of symptoms with various degrees of severity. Some common symptoms include the following:
*Note: This is not an exhaustive list and your symptoms may change depending on your vaccination status, new COVID-19 variants, and whether or not you’ve had COVID before.
Both standard and rapid PCR tests work by testing small traces of the COVID-19 virus in your system. This means that if you know you’ve been exposed but have little to no symptoms, you’re more likely to get an accurate test result through a PCR test. PCR tests pinpoint the genetic material within the virus, making them the best choice for early detection of COVID-19.
The rapid Antigen test is recommended for people with moderate to severe symptoms of COVID-19. Antigen tests only test viral proteins, so they’re not likely to detect small traces of the virus or anything from people who are asymptomatic. If you’ve been self-isolating after testing positive for COVID-19, the Antigen rapid test could help determine if the virus is still active in your body––if you test negative, it’s probably okay for you to stop isolating.
Because COVID-19 is highly contagious, you should plan to get tested as soon as you start to feel symptoms. Aim to get a PCR test 3 to 5 days after exposure or first symptoms.
If you know you were exposed to COVID-19, whether or not you have symptoms, you should still plan to stay home for 5 days. If after 5 days you’re still not having symptoms or they’ve resolved, you can stop isolating.
Our rapid tests are 99% accurate and FDA-authorized.
Paxlovid is an FDA-authorized emergency prescription treatment for people with mild to moderate symptoms of COVID-19. Getting vaccinated for COVID-19 is still the best course of prevention, but in some cases, you may get the virus and become very sick.
Paxlovid is best-suited as a treatment option for people with persistent symptoms or for those at increased risk of becoming severely ill or hospitalized due to COVID-19 (such as people with pre-existing conditions).
Paxlovid works best when taken as soon as symptoms start. It should also only be prescribed to people ages 12 and older.
Be sure to talk to your nurse practitioner about any side effects of Paxlovid that may concern you. If you start to experience any side effects while taking Paxlovid, contact a member of our clinical staff right away so they can advise you.
Possible side effects include the following:
● Various allergic reactions, including hives, swelling, and troubled breathing
